Nouveau port de départ en Corse.
La ville portuaire d'Ajaccio offre un merveilleux point de départ pour des croisières et la location de bateux le long de la côte occidentale de la Corse. Au sein du Port de plaisance Charles Ornano, juste au milieu de la vieille ville se trouve la toute nouvelle base de Bestsail et de ses partenaires VPM Yachtcharter.
A partir du Port de plaisance Charles Ornano, on peut naviguer soit jusqu'à Acciolu au nord-ouest de la Corse, soit mettre le cap sur le sud, la route de Bonifacio. Pour la route du nord, l'équipe Barone a élaboré un itinéraire pour huit jours au total. Cet itinéraire vous mène entre autres à travers l'archipel des Sanguinaires et les ports de Girolata et de Calvo. Ceux qui ne réussissent pas à constituer leur propre équipe de croisière peuvent réserver une cabine sur un catamaran de 60 pieds.

The german company cooperates since 2012 with seven new partnerfleets in Italy, Croatia, Greece and the Carribean
In Italy they concentrate on building up the cooperation bases in the room around sicily: In Trapani, Marsala and on the mainland by tropea customers have more selections for yachcharter at the coast of sicily to the Eolian Islands or Egadian Islands.
Bestsail-Partner is the italian fleetowner Sailling Sicily.
In Croatia crews can start now from Murter, in Grecce in the heart of the Ionic Sea from Lefkas. The new partner-bases of Adriatic Yacht Charter in Croatia and South Aegean Yachting in Greece.
Bestsail - the big cooperation of german and swiss Yachtcharter agents has 4 VPM Yachtcharter bases in the Carribean Sea on Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Martin and Tortola and GPS-Yachts in Trinidad on Cuba have new destinations for sailors.
Next to new bases also a new standard equipment is coming up, but from supplier to supplier different quickly.
So on many fleets there is W-Lan with own SIM-Cards and flatrates, the customers have then a free Internet-possibility like at Adriatic Yacht Charter in Croatia.
In destinations where sailors are used to anchoring, fleet-operators put solar-panels on the yachts, especially on catamarans to covers the energy requirements.

VPM with new Caribbean Base
The German company VPM which forms part of the Bestsail network is currently enlarging its fleet on Guadeloupe. Therefore the base of Pointe-à-Pitre in the marina Bas de Fort are moving into new premises. The former Sunsail base "blue lagoon" is taken over and hence hundred metres pontoon length are won. 14 catamarans are stationed there amongst which there are two new Lagoon 450, as well as mono-hulls varying between 36 footers up to the 54 foot sun odyssey. The Germans have further bases in Martinique, Tortola and St. Martin. Bookings can be carried out via all Bestsail agencies. www.bestsail.de.

The German company Bestsail in cooperation with their partner VPM Yachtcharter took on the pontoons and infrastructure of the former Sunsail charter base "blue lagoon" in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. 100 metre length of pontoon is now additionally available and presently the new offices are being moved into. In the marina Bas de Fort 28 yachts can be offered altogether by VPM - Bestsail now. Bookings are possible via Barone Yachting (www.barone.de) and all Bestsail agents.

VPM Bestsail expands Caribbean offer For the season of 2011 the yacht charter partners Bestsail and VPM are expanding their fleets in the Caribbean Antilles. As an addition to the bases in Tortola, Martinique and St. Martin they are now leading the base 'blue lagoon' on Guadeloupe (ex-Sunsail). The fleet which is stationed in the Marina Bas de Fort, Pointe-à-Pitre is moving and therefore 100 metre additional pontoon length are now available. 14 catamarans amongst which there are two Lagoon 450's, and several yachts ranging from the Ocèanis 54 to the small Sun Odyssey 36i complete the fleet. New bestsail Base on Sicily Crews which sail near silcily always have one aim: the vulcanoe islands around Lipardi, Stromboli and Vulcano. As a matter of fact there is an equally nice area around the northwest corner of Sicily: the Egadi islands around Marettimo, Favignana and Levanzo. The partially on very rocky gorunds located places have very simple ports, but the flair is all the greater. In summer there are no tourist hords moving around the villages and the anchorage grounds are never overcrowded. The islands are still an insider tip amongst Italy-fans, also because the area is a little bit more challanging than the north parts. The best port for the very primal islands of tuna fishermen is Trapani. It is precisely there that Bestsail opens a charter base in cooperation with the Italian charter company Sail Silcily. New ships under Caribbean sun The Caribbean specialised charter operator VPM is making the fleet which consists of 70 yachts younger again. Almost all boats are built 2004-2009. According to the firm itself the German agency therefore has the most modern fleet in the area. The latest ships are of the type Sun Odyssey 54 DS Cyclades 50 as well as Salina 48 (catamaran). In December the brand new Oceanis 54 and Sun Odyssey 44 and apart from that yachts are also available in Antigua now. Further bases are on Martinique, St. Martin, Totola and Guadeloupe. Base in Malta The charter operator VPM-Bestsail establishes a base in Malta. in the main 'grand harbour' in the new 'Camper and Nicolson Marina' one finds a small fleet of three yachts and one catamaran in the coming season. A Dufour 38 for example, costs 1800 Euro per week in the beginning of the year, a Gib'Sea 43 starts from 2900 Euro, a Dufour Atoll 6 from 3100 Euro as well as the Nautitec catamaran 395 from 4000 Euro per week. VPM - Bestsail eröffnet Basis im Mini-Archipel Das bislang in Sachen Yachtcharter fast vergessene Revier 60 Meilen südlich von Sizilien erfährt einen Aufschwung. Als zweiter größerer Anbieter verlegt der zur deutschen Bestsail-Kette gehörende Anbieter VPM eine kleine Flotte von Monohulls und Kats in die Grand Harbour Marina bei Valletta....
Malta is being discovered as a charter area. The in terms of charter long forgotten district which is sixty miles south of sicily, experiences a boost. The major operator VPM transfers a small fleet into the Grand Harbour Marina in Valletta. Atoll 50, Gib'Sea 43, Dufour 38 and Nautitec 395 are offered there. It is notable that the season for sailing in the slands of Malta, Gozo and Comino starts much earölier and finishes much later than in the rest of the Mediterranean sea. Thre archipelago offers a mixture of historical sites, anchoring bays, own marinas and grotto nerved, sharp coastline. All three islands are easily managable within a week. Bestsail expands the bases immensely Despite the economical crisis in Germany, the largest German charter-fleet operator expands the offers in Europe. The charter operator which has been founded by sixteen different charter companies in Germany few years ago, is slowly but surely with 300 yachts developing into a serious competitor for charter giants like Sunsail/Stardust and Moorings. This year six new bases are opening: Trogir (Croatia), Izola (Slovenia), Korfu (Greece), near Castellamare (Italy), Porta Rosa (Sicily) and one on Korsica. Therwith the network consists of 26 charter bases of which eighteen are in the Mediterranean, one is in the Baltic sea and seven overseas, especially in the Caribbean. Even the restructuring of VPM the French company that has been bought by Bestsail proves to be successful. After an inventory control one base in Guadeloupe has been closed and great investments have been made to make the fleet an overall younger one. Spectacular Buy-Out German charter-network bestsail Buys French charter company VPM Bestsail has only been existing for three years has astonishingly bought the French operator VPM who has become popular through his beses in teh Caribbean. The sale leads back to the restructuring of the French company Nouvelles Frontieres, which VPM formed part of. Bestsail, a merger of many large yacht charter agencies in Germany, Austria and Swizerland (amongst which are Barone Yaxchting, B+R Yachting, Charterwelt, Sarres Schockemöhle Yachting, Windrose Yachtcharter and KH+P) has been waiting together with other interested parties for three months and has finally gained acceptance. Therefore VPM's 150 yachts which consist mainly of Dufour and Nautitech ships, as well as five bases (Martinique, Guadeloupe, Tahiti and Seychelles) now form part of the German firm. 'We hence stretch our offer which has previously been largely Mediterranean focused further into teh Caribbean' says Bernd Löffel member of the bord of directors.
